Xiaomi and Bangkok University Award Students for Photography Contest

Xiaomi, in collaboration with the Faculty of Communication Arts at Bangkok University, recently awarded students who excelled in a photography contest using Xiaomi smartphones. The awards included prize money and Xiaomi products worth over 50,000 baht, along with certificates.

The partnership between Xiaomi Thailand and the Faculty of Communication Arts at Bangkok University aimed to support and promote photography skills among students. In addition to the photography contest, a special lecture class on creative photography techniques was organized as part of the Xiaomi Imagery Award 2023 project.

The contest attracted a large number of students who submitted their photos to compete. Miss Nichapa Krongyat, a student from the Faculty of Communication Arts, claimed the first prize, while the runner-up position went to Miss Siripatcha Supree Worakit. Three honorable mention awards were also presented to other students from the same faculty.

Mr. Alex Tang, General Manager of Southeast Asia, Xiaomi International and Manager of Xiaomi Thailand, expressed the company’s pleasure in seeing the students’ interest in learning and their creative potential. He also highlighted the important role of technology in education and development.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suphajet Chansan, Assistant Rector for Academic Affairs at Bangkok University, expressed delight in Xiaomi Thailand’s support for the students and emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for youth to showcase their potential.

The collaboration between Xiaomi and Bangkok University not only served as a platform for students to exhibit their talent but also underlined the significance of technology in nurturing youth development.
