Xiaomi Announces List of Devices to Receive HyperOS Update
After already announcing several phones that will come with its new HyperOS operating system, and after starting to upgrade the system from MIUI to the new system in China, Xiaomi has presented the list of the first devices that will receive the update globally.
The company published a list containing seven phones and one tablet that will receive the update during the first quarter of 2024, that is, until March 2024. The company explained that every time the update will be concurrent for several devices, and it will show the next group of devices near the start of its updates.
The list includes all three phones of the Xiaomi 13 family, both devices in the family Xiaomi 13T as well as the Redmi Note 12 and its S version. The tablet included is the Pad 6.
In addition, a secretary Shaomi Because devices whose Bootloader has been hacked will not receive the update to HyperOS and of course not its future upgrades. The explanation according to the company is that it is due to reasons of securing, data protection and general user experience. Whoever will do it after the transition to HyperOS from MIUI will also lose future updates but can get them back if they unhack.
The list does not include the brand company phones Bit. It is supposed to present its schedule on its own and has not yet officially done so. What is known is that Poco F5 should be the first to receive the update to HyperOS – and probably also during the first quarter.
