Xiaomi announces Redmi A2+ along with Redmi A2 – low-end devices

Xiaomi quietly launched the smartphones Redmi A2 Together with +Redmi A2 Intended for the range of entry-level devices to the market, low-category handsets. The devices come with very basic technical data and with the Android 12 operating system version Go Edition.

Both devices are completely identical with the only difference being that the Plus model comes with a fingerprint reader on the back. The devices will be sold in light blue, light green and black colors.

Xiaomi has not published the prices of the new smartphones, but based on the previous generation, expect a very cheap price. In Israel, the previous generation Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus in the 2/32 GB configuration was sold today for NIS 399. It seems that this is going to be the order of magnitude of the price of the new devices.
