About half a year after the launch of the previous flagship series, Xiaomi announces a series to the international market Xiaomi 12T which includes a standard model and a pro model that comes with 200 megapixel camera. The official sale will start on October 10 at the following prices:
- Xiaomi 12T smartphone in 8/128 GB configuration at a price of 549 dollars
- Xiaomi 12T smartphone in 8/256 GB configuration at a price of 599 dollars
- Xiaomi 12T Pro smartphone in 8/256 GB configuration at a price of 749 dollars
- Xiaomi 12T Pro smartphone in 12/256 GB configuration at a price of 799 dollars
The launch prices will be 100 dollars cheaper especially for the launch and another 30 dollars coupon from the AliExpress store.
Xiaomi 12T smartphone – technical specifications
The device comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 1220×2712, with a pixel density of 446ppi, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for 68 billion colors and the HDR10+ standard. The processor of the device is Dimensity 8100 Ultra from MediaTek and it comes with an operating memory of 8 GB along with a storage capacity of 128 or 256 GB. The storage volumes come in the UFS3.1 standard when there is no room to increase them by adding a memory card.
The photography system includes a 108-megapixel main camera with an aperture key of f/1.7 and an optical stabilizer. The second camera is of 8 megapixels with an aperture key of f/2.2 designed for wide shots at an angle of 120 degrees. In addition, there is a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The selfie camera emerges from a small hole in the center of the upper part of the screen and is a 20-megapixel camera with an aperture key of f/2.2. Videos can be taken with the main camera setup, in 4K@30fps resolution, while with the selfie camera it is only possible in 1080p@30/60fps resolution.
The battery of the device comes with a capacity of 5,000 mAh along with a fast charging of 120 watts. A fingerprint reader is embedded under the screen when the device does not have a headphone jack. The device supports two Nano SIM cards and weighs 202 grams.
Xiaomi 12T Pro smartphone – technical specifications
Befitting a Pro model, the device is very similar to the regular version except for a few upgrades. The screen in the pro model is the same as the regular model when Dolby Vision support has been added to it and it comes with a maximum brightness of 1000nits.
The processor of the device is different and in the Pro model it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor which comes with an operating memory of 8 gigabytes together with a storage capacity of 128 or 256 gigabytes and also an operating memory of 12 gigabytes together with a storage capacity of 256 Giga Bite. The storage volumes come in the UFS3.1 standard when there is no room to increase them by adding a memory card.
The photography setup is the same between the models except for the fact that in the pro model the main camera is of 200 megapixels With an aperture key of f/1.7. You can shoot video in 8K@24fps resolution and all other shooting capabilities are the same.
Even in the pro model, the device’s battery comes with a capacity of 5,000 mAh along with 120 watt fast charging, a fingerprint reader embedded under the screen, no headphone jack, support for two Nano SIM cards and it weighs 205 grams.
