Xiaomi has unveiled its new development – the humanoid robot CyberOne. The novelty was the development of the CyberDog robot dog project, presented last year. Software and technical developments were taken from CyberDog, which were adapted to a design with a height of 177 cm, a weight of 52 kg and an arm span of 168 cm.

CyberOne is equipped with electric motors with a torque of 300 Nm, which allows the device to have up to 21 degrees of freedom in movement with a real-time response speed of 0.5 ms. The robot can imitate human movements and move in space at speeds up to 3.6 km/h. It is able to hold weight up to 1.5 kg in the hand.

CyberOne received the Mi-Sense machine vision system and artificial intelligence technology that allow it to learn new movements, navigate in space and interact with people or objects. The device has a MiAI environmental semantics recognition system and a voice emotion recognition system, which allows the robot to recognize 85 types of environmental sounds and 45 types of human emotions. CyberOne can even console people – its “emotions” are displayed on an OLED display.

Xiaomi does not report on CyberOne’s serial prospects, but notes that the technologies used in the humanoid robot will be used in the company’s future products.
