Xiaomi launched a new model for its series of security cameras, the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300, designed for use at home or in the yard with high durability and the ability to shoot 2K video at a relatively low price of about 56 dollars.
The camera has an advanced detection capability and is able to differentiate between the movement of animals and humans, when it automatically activates strong lighting during the hours of darkness and enables full color photography at night. It allows receiving notifications to the mobile phone while it detects a change in movement, a human figure or the movement of vehicles and even detection of a two-wheeled vehicle. Finally, it also has an alarm that can be activated remotely as well as a two-way intercom.
The Outdoor Camera AW300 has a 3-megapixel sensor with 2K video recording in H.265 video encoding. It has the option of internal storage on a MicroSD card up to a volume of 256 gigabytes, and is waterproof and dustproof to the IP66 standard. It is activated through the Mi Home application (connected to Mainland China) and works wirelessly through the WiFi network, requiring only a permanent connection to electricity.
The camera was recently launched and, as mentioned, is already available for purchase at a price equal to only NIS 200.
