Xiaomi has launched the base phone of the Note 14 series from its sub-brand Redmi, which is set to join the Note 14 Pro and the Note 14 Pro+. Like in recent generations of this family, it is considered one of the leaders, if not the leader, in the mid-range market in terms of value for money.
The Redmi Note 14 features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a +FHD resolution and a respectable refresh rate of 120Hz, reaching a peak brightness of 2,100 nits according to the company – all under a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra, which offers 5G support, and there is also a slot for a microSD card to expand the storage. On the back, there are only two cameras – the main one with a 50-megapixel LYT-600 sensor and optical image stabilization, and the second is intended solely for macro photography with a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The operating system is, of course, HyperOS, which runs on Android 14, and there is a 5,100 mAh battery with 45W charging. The price for the 6/128 GB memory configuration is about $170. For the 12/256 GB version, you will already pay around $245.
