Xiaomi Celebrates Entry into Electric Car Market with Special Edition Devices
After the big reveal of its first electric car, the Xiaomi SU7, Xiaomi is celebrating its entry into the field with the release of special edition Xiaomi 14, 14 Pro, and Watch S3 devices. The limited-edition devices will come in colors that match the colors of the new car, adding a new level of connectivity and style for Xiaomi users.
The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro were announced last month as the new flagship devices of the company. The limited edition will come in blue, aqua, and red, similar to the colors available for customers purchasing the SU7 or SU7 Max electric car. These new colors will join the existing colors of green, black, white, and pink.
In addition, the new colors will also be available for the Xiaomi Watch S3, the company’s first HyperOS watch. The new colors will join the existing colors of black, silver, and brown, and will feature a “Limited Edition” engraving on the casing around the display.
The pair of Xiaomi 14 devices are the first to come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm and will also be the first models to come with the HyperOS system, replacing the old MIUI. The new edition will not cost more than the regular models, and the Watch S3 will remain the same as before, selling for around $130.
Xiaomi’s first electric car promises a large driving range alongside a host of features and gadgets, including the HyperOS system. The price and distribution outside of China are not yet known, but it is estimated to be around $40,000.
