Xiaomi has officially announced that it will present its new flagship phone series, Xiaomi 13, already this Thursday, December 1. According to the company’s announcement on Wiebo, it will happen at 19:00 in the evening China time, and beyond the basic device, Xiaomi will present the Xiaomi 13 Pro, and both with the company’s new interface, MIUI 14.

The company even officially added some details about the devices, among them that both will support the IP 68 standard, and that the screen will be of an extremely high quality OLED type. The margins around it will be smaller than ever according to the company and will reach a thickness of only 1.61 mm – which implies a very high screen-to-body ratio.

The main camera of the Pro model should be equipped with a 1-inch sensor, the Sony IMX989 already incorporated in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and both will have a telephoto camera, although it is not clear if it will be the same. The collaboration with Leica continues, of course, as it comes close to being expressed in the teaser itself. In addition, both will come as expected with Qualcomm’s new flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Xiaomi 13 Pro should come with a 6.65-inch screen with a hole on top for the selfie camera with a 32-megapixel sensor, and reports say a QHD+ resolution as well as a 4,800 mAh battery with a maximum charging power of 120 watts. The basic model will be equipped with a 67 watt charger.
