Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The former mayor of Tegucigalpa, Nasry Asfura, while visiting San Pedro Sula to celebrate the 121st anniversary of the National Party, stated that the current president, Xiomara Castrohas “a lot of work to do” in his presidential administration.
“President Xiomara Castro has a lot of work ahead of her, always thinking of Honduras,” said the former presidential candidate in the last elections.

Surrounded by authorities and the bases of the National Party, “Papi” told the audience: “Here we are happy, it is 121 years of the party. We come here today to San Pedro Sula, with the entire department of Cortés to greet, to be with the people, to celebrate these 121 years of the National Party.”

The leaders of the Lone Star Party indicated that they hope to strengthen this political institution “in order to obtain more public positions in the next electoral contest.”
