The extra long weekend generated by the holiday of June 20 ended and the cinemas had excellent sales, but irregular.
The “normal” weekend was lazy and the premieres didn’t help. But the weather made up for everything on Monday and continued a bit on Tuesday, thus achieving 1,260,000 tickets sold, according to what Ultracine reported. Already on Monday the best mark of this year for a single day was achieved, but the best XL weekend was also not achieved because on May 25 almost 200,000 more tickets were sold thanks to the good sales of every day, partly because of the weather and partly because of The Little Mermaid and Fast and Furious.
But the figure is really very high and the week will end with about 1.4 million viewers, double what was sold in 2019 on the same days (but without so many holidays).
