Addition of 12-inch and 15-inch speaker lineup… ‘Expanding’ consumer choices

Yamaha Music Korea announced on the 5th that it has added four new products to its loudspeaker (a device that converts changes in electrical signals into acoustic vibrations that humans can hear) lineup, including the ‘DHR12’, ‘CHR12’, ‘DHR15M’, and ‘CHR15M’.
The newly released ‘DHR12’ and ‘CHR12’ models are mid-sized products in the 10 and 15 model lineups of the representative loudspeaker products, the DHR and CHR series. With the release of these models, Yamaha has expanded its loudspeaker lineup with more diverse options.
The ‘DHR12’ and ‘CHR12’ models are said to be equipped with a 12-inch woofer and a precision 1.4-inch compression driver, allowing them to be installed in a variety of environments. All 12-inch models have the same size of 359 x 578 x 340mm.
The ‘DHR15M’ and ‘CHR15M’ series released together are stage-type monitor speaker products using coaxial drivers, and both are configured with the size of 642 x 369 x 505mm. Based on a 15-inch woofer, it is said to feature an extended frequency range of 50Hz to 20kHz. In the case of the CHR15M, it is said to be ideal for drum players and bass players due to its improved low-range reproduction ability.
The DHR series provides a high output of 1000W through a high-efficiency amplifier, and in the case of the CHR series, when using the Yamaha PX series amplifier, you can use a dedicated speaker preset, so it is said that tuning is convenient and installation is easy. He added that the DHR series and CHR series are characterized by being able to be installed and used in various environments.

The DHR and CHR series can be used in various environments such as live halls, clubs, sports facilities, auditoriums, and gymnasiums, and the addition of the 12-inch model and 15-inch floor monitor model this time has expanded the range of choices for consumers, enabling them to create a more efficient sound environment.”
