After a short and not very successful foray in the youth of the Ashdod Sports Club, the young striker Yan Yusupov, who is considered a huge promise at Beitar Jerusalem, signed back into the ranks of the team from the capital.

Yusupov was supposed to join the group’s graduates from the port city, but this did not happen in the end. He returned to Beitar Jerusalem under a contract for two and a half years with an option for two more years.

As I recall, the striker signed only last summer in Ashdod. The 17-year-old young talent grew up in Beitar Jerusalem and last season, in the first boys’ team, he made 36 appearances in all formats, in which he scored 35 goals and assisted 14 more. For the past two years, the striker has been a member of the Israeli youth national team and is considered one of the greatest talents in Israel for his age.
