News from Angola – Yango’s app-based transport services began operating in the province of Benguela in the early hours of Wednesday.

To formalize the launch in the province, Yango presented, last Thursday, to local authorities the innovations that the application brought to the Angolan market, such as the use of its own maps and the route calculation system that significantly reduces costs not only for passengers, but also for drivers.
According to the Provincial Director of Transport and Mobility, Cátia Cachucho, said that the arrival of this new service is creating great expectations among citizens.
The official also welcomed Yango’s business model, focused on creating jobs and “developing the region’s business fabric”, through partnerships with transport companies that manage the driver portfolio.
While the Director of Yango in Angola, Ivan Mugimbo, guaranteed that the Lobito – Baia Farta axis has an innovative app-based transport service available which, in the last year and a half, has become a preference for Luanda residents.
In the opinion of drivers and local transport operators, “their entry brings an innovative business model that enables high income and strong business growth.
