The former Commercial Director of Coca-Cola HBK Bulgaria – Yavor Stefanov, assumes the role of General Director of the company. With many years of experience in the sector and proven leadership skills, he stands at the head of the Bulgarian team of 1000 professionals responsible for the development of the company and the various directions of its business in the country.
Stefanov succeeds Sasha Markovic, who continues his career path at Coca-Cola HBK.

Yavor Stefanov started his career as part of the Coca-Cola HBK Bulgaria team in 2005, in the role of sales representative. Over the years, he passed through a number of positions with increasing responsibility, gained valuable experience and confirmed his leadership qualities in key management projects. In 2022, Stefanov headed the company’s sales force in the country, consisting of over 400 professionals, with whom he won the “Customer’s Choice” award for 2023 from among all 29 markets in which Coca-Cola HBK operates.
In the role of sales director, Yavor Stefanov leads the transformation processes of the company’s commercial growth strategies. Under his leadership, the company implemented ambitious initiatives that led to significant improvements in commercial efficiency and an outstanding result of 92% team engagement over the past year.
The former General Director Sasha Markovic has successfully led Coca-Cola HBK Bulgaria for the past year and a half, achieving exceptional business results. Under his leadership, the company strengthened its leadership position in the market in our country and achieved a number of successes, including winning the biggest award in the world of Coca-Cola HBK among 29 countries on 3 continents – the “Andrew David” Cup, for overall business performance of all functions for 2023. In his new role, Markovic will continue his career path as General Manager for Serbia and Montenegro.
