Yeongcheon City (Mayor Choi Ki-moon) held a resolution meeting to spread an anti-corruption public service culture in the city hall conference room on the morning of the 3rd, with about 60 senior officials including Mayor Choi Ki-moon in attendance, and pledged to prohibit improper solicitation and bribery.

In the recently announced comprehensive integrity evaluation by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, the city maintained the 3rd grade in comprehensive integrity since last year. In particular, the perceived integrity level was 4th grade in 2022, 3rd grade in 2023, and 2nd grade in 2024, showing how citizens feel that our city is good. The level of integrity continues to rise every year.

Through this pledge ceremony, the city once again pledged to eradicate customary corruption in public society and become an example in creating a fair society, and in celebration of the Lunar New Year, with a resolution to ‘take a leap forward’, the city will achieve a comprehensive integrity level of 2025. We plan to actively promote effective integrity policies in all fields with the goal of leaping to the first level.

Yeongcheon Mayor Choi Ki-moon said, “In times like these where the international situation is unstable and the economy is difficult, it is especially important for public officials to have a strict sense of responsibility and practice integrity,” and added, “We will do our best to create a clean public service society by blocking factors of corruption at the source.” It was said.

Starting with this integrity pledge ceremony for executive public officials, Yeongcheon City plans to hold an integrity pledge ceremony for each department and town, township, and district to do its best to make this a year in which all employees work together with one mind and one mind to practice fairer and more transparent administration than any other year.

Meanwhile, Yeongcheon City (Mayor Choi Ki-moon) published the ‘2025 Yeongcheon City Corporate Support Policy Guide’ guidebook, which contains the 2025 corporate support projects of the city and corporate support-related organizations in one volume.

This guidebook provides detailed information on 52 business support projects in 5 fields, including finance, exports, safety, R&D, and environment, to answer questions about support plans for businesses in the region. We focused on resolving the problem, and also included corporate support information from Yeongcheon City and six related organizations to expand the selection and access to support measures.

The city distributes the ‘Yeongcheon City Corporate Support Policy Guide’ guidebook to related organizations such as administrative welfare centers in 16 towns, villages, and dongs, chambers of commerce, and Gyeongbuk Techno Park so that more businesses can use it, and posts it on the Yeongcheon City Hall website (information by sector – investment/support – It was also posted on corporate support so that anyone could easily view it.
