In October of this year, Yeongcheon City was finally selected for the base strawberry specialty nursery project as a city-county project project for the 2025 Gyeongbuk Province horticultural income crop development support project, securing a total project cost of 3 billion won (1.5 billion won in provincial funds and 1.5 billion won in fertilization funds) and special vegetable crops. We have been actively pursuing policies in the field.

Yeongcheon Mayor Choi Ki-moon said, “Winning the Gyeongsangbuk-do Vegetable Special Crop Policy Evaluation for 7 consecutive years is the fruit of mutual communication and cooperation between the city council, which worked hard to secure the budget, and the Nonghyup, farmers, and related organizations who worked hard to promote the project.” He added, “Thank you to everyone who worked hard. “I am honored to receive the award,” he said.
