Yeonggwang-gun is moving forward with comprehensive measures for the Chuseok holiday. Yeonggwang-gun (Acting County Governor and Deputy County Governor Kim Jeong-seop) is pushing forward with the ‘2024 Chuseok Holiday Comprehensive Measures’ to ensure that the county residents and visitors returning to their hometowns can have a safe and comfortable Chuseok holiday ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
From the 14th to the 18th, when the holiday begins, a comprehensive situation team consisting of 8 teams (80 people), excluding those on duty, will be operated for 5 days to minimize inconvenience to the residents, and detailed measures will be prepared for each field to quickly respond to complaints closely related to the lives of residents.
By operating a local price safety countermeasure team, we will respond quickly to consumer damages such as violations of labeling inspections and measurements of agricultural and marine products, and by operating a disaster and catastrophe response situation room, we will establish a rapid response system to various incidents and accidents, putting the safety of the citizens first.
During the Chuseok holiday, we plan to maintain a clean environment by quickly collecting household waste and operating a special cleaning task force, operate a water supply situation room to quickly handle water supply-related complaints, and establish a system to respond immediately in the event of a water pipe burst.
Yeonggwang General Hospital and Yeonggwang Christian Hospital operate emergency rooms to respond to emergency patients, and public health centers provide emergency treatment during the holiday period. On-call medical institutions (8 locations) and pharmacies (8 locations) are also in operation.
