Rumors about the strained relationship between Nicola Peltz and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham have been raging online for several years, even before Peltz married Brooklyn Beckham, the designer’s eldest son and former Spice Girl. Victoria and Nicola have both denied the rumors more than once, but apparently they will continue. Because after all, there is pleasure in gossiping about beautiful and rich people who are far away from us.
How true are these rumors? It seems that we will never know, but at least outwardly, the two are careful to favor each other and maintain the image of a loving family – which the Beckhams are certainly known for.

Yesterday, Victoria and David joined Brooklyn and Nicola to celebrate the newlyweds’ first wedding anniversary. Victoria went for a nonchalant look of jeans and a t-shirt, with the addition of slightly less nonchalant blue heels.
Brooklyn’s orange flip-flops can’t be ignored, but the star of this family reunion is undoubtedly Nicola, who looks like she’s just finished filming a scene for the next Scooby-Doo movie in short floral shorts, a black crop top and black platform boots.

Some of the comments mocked Nicola’s choice of revealing clothing. “Yes, this is exactly what I wear when I meet my father-in-law and mother-in-law,” wrote one commenter, and another suggested she take “manners and manners lessons” from Victoria. But since the mother-in-law in this case is a fashion designer and former pop star, it seems to us that this is a completely legitimate block – and definitely a successful one.
