Ahead of the judges’ election to the Supreme Court tomorrow, MK Zvika Hauser was interviewed on 103FM radio, an interview that turned into a confrontation between him and presenter Yinon Magal.
At the beginning of the interview, Hauser said: “There is a change in the Supreme Court, it is a change of heel on the thumb side, the Supreme Court will be more balanced. No matter what they decide, they will always get on their heads. I defend that the executive has powers. Minimal court intervention, only in exceptional cases. Amsalem petitions every Monday and Thursday and seeks the court’s intervention.

On the tensions in Ukraine ahead of the impending Russian invasion, MK Hauser said: “There are close to 250,000 Jews in Ukraine, there is a tremendous opportunity for a large immigration from there. One should focus exclusively on immigration from Ukraine. I am against changing the Law of Return, I am against Trella and I am against civil war. “
At the end of the interview, the conversation turned into a confrontation when Yinon Magal attacked Hauser for his conduct: “You sold your soul for a job, for being a Norwegian in the Knesset. Are you not ashamed?”.
In response, MK Hauser replied: “Stop fiddling, you are abandoning all the values of aliyah, settlement, the army and the building of the state.”
