Yishfar Launches Slim PlayStation 5 with Increased Storage Capacity in Israel
Following last month’s announcement, Yishfar is set to release the updated edition of the PlayStation 5 console in Israel. The new Slim PlayStation 5 comes with a smaller external case and a significant increase in storage capacity.
The Slim PlayStation 5 is available in two versions: a regular one with a Blu-Ray drive or a digital edition without a drive, which can be purchased separately. The console is 30% smaller and lighter compared to the previous model.
The storage capacity of the Slim PlayStation 5 has been increased to 1 terabyte, and it features 2 USB-C connections on the front of the console, compared to the USB-A and USB-C input in the previous generation. Despite these updates, the console maintains the same specifications, including an AMD Zen 2 processor with 8 cores at 3.5 GHz, an AMD graphics processor with RDNA 2 support, and 16 GB of working memory.
In the USA, the price of the digital edition is $449.99, while the version with a Blu-ray drive is priced at $499.99. In Israel, the 1 terabyte version with the drive is set to be sold at a price of NIS 2,349. Additionally, there are combined editions available with games or two remotes, with prices increasing accordingly.
