YKMI Reminds Public, Israeli Genocide in Gaza Palestine is Not Over Yet

jpnn.com – The Indonesian Muslim Consumer Foundation (YKMI) again condemns the criminal acts of massacre or genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

It is known that the Israeli army again launched an air strike on a safe zone in Gaza on Tuesday (10/9/2024), which burned tents and buried Palestinians under the sand.

The Gaza Civil Defense Agency said Israeli missile attacks killed 40 people and injured at least 60 others, while dozens more, many more, were still missing.

YKMI Executive Director Ahmad Himawan said the genocide that has been going on in Palestine for almost a year. Therefore, YKMI once again reminded the Indonesian people to continue to strengthen solidarity with Palestine.

“The genocide in Palestine has been going on for almost a year but it has not ended yet. Yesterday, Israel attacked the Palestinian safe zone again, this is an act that is clearly a violation, a crime, and an injustice,” Himawan said in a press release, quoted on Thursday (12/9/2024).

YKMI also appealed to the public not to forget Israel’s genocide crimes in Palestine. The victims in Gaza still feel sorrow, pain, and hardship every day.

“For this reason, we remind Muslims that the genocide carried out by Israel against Palestine is not over yet,” he said.

This former HMI activist explained that Indonesian Muslims must continue to demonstrate this effort by carrying out peaceful actions and continuing to boycott Israeli-affiliated products.
