Yogyakarta Customs and Excise took ⁢action against a vehicle carrying various brands of illegal cigarettes​ during a raid in Kulonprogo on Wednesday (24/7).

Action ‌Initiated‍ by Intel

The ⁢action⁤ was ‍initiated following ‍intelligence received about the ‍shipment ⁣of illicit tobacco products in the form of cigarettes being transported⁣ in a ​specific car. Officers⁢ immediately followed up ⁤on the information by conducting land patrols​ and sweeps along designated routes.

Inspection Results

Upon finding the target vehicle, officers conducted‍ an inspection and discovered various brands of machine-made kretek cigarettes ⁤without excise stamps attached. A total of⁣ 308,800 cigarettes with a potential state loss of ‌Rp. 295,590,000‍ were confiscated.
