Yonatan Razel in the last single for a new album – ‘Tashiri’

by time news

Yonatan Razel in a new song he composed to lyrics written by Danieli Sonnenfeld, a wonderful girl with a huge heart whose life was cut short by a tragic car accident. ‘Tashiri’ is the last single for Razel’s new album which will be released next month

“I didn’t expect a 16-year-old girl to write words like “You fix the world with your imperfection,” or “Go out into the street with the open wounds,” says Yonatan Razel. “When I read these words in the songs of Danieli Sonnenfeld a.h., I was very surprised, moved and captivated and immediately a melody came to me.

Years ago when I visited the home of Danieli’s parents, I had the privilege of meeting her. She was a girl who dedicated her entire short life to helping others. From the things she left behind – paintings, songs and memories, a picture emerges of a particularly deep girl with a unique outlook on life.

A lot of wonderful forces joined together in this special project, and specifically with me, Ronnie Brown, my musical partners, Maor Shushan, who started the road with me in production, and of course the amazing director Nadav Nachmani, who lifted the song to new heights of imagination and dream.

It’s a different kind of collaboration with a creator who is no longer with us, and I hope the song is somewhat similar to how she would have wanted it to sound. May her memory be blessed and played.”

Words:

Despite the fakes, you have to sing
Go out into the street with the open wounds
The world would look different without gray and brown
Art would be fake if they were all flowers

So sing
Despite the forgeries, sing
Sing in a hoarse suffering voice
you do not have to
But try to smile
Because in this moment of weakness you fill the holes
You fix the world with your imperfection

Despite the fakes, you have to sing
Go out into the street with the open wounds, open
The world would look different without gray and brown
Art would be fake if they were all flowers

So sing
Despite the forgeries, sing
Sing in a hoarse suffering voice
you do not have to
But try to smile
Because in this moment of weakness you fill the holes
You fix the world with your imperfection

So sing
Despite the forgeries, sing
Sing in a hoarse suffering voice
you do not have to
But try to smile
