He established a small theater, Hakjeon, in Daehangno in 1991 and has trained many artists. Singers such as Park Hak-ki, Zoo, and Wild Chrysanthemum performed at Hakjeon. He was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer last year, and passed away at 8:26 p.m. on the 21st. The funeral was held at Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall.
