Balázs Németh, CEO of the company organizing the event, Budapest 2023 Nonprofit Zrt., highlighted at the press conference held on the ship on Sunday morning:
MAHART, in cooperation with the organizing committee, will operate boat trips between Batthyány tér and the MÜPA boat station on all competition days of the World Cup, from where the entrance to the National Athletic Center can be reached with a short walk. The journey time is only 15 minutes.
The CEO drew attention to the fact that boat transport is also important because there will be extremely limited parking options near the venue of the World Cup.
