New Delhi: Arif Mohammad Khan is the one who resigned from the cabinet in disagreement with Rajiv Gandhi and if the Chief Minister thinks that Raj Bhavan can be silenced, it will not happen, said Union Minister V. Muralidharan. Asked if nepotism is not corruption, Muralidharan clarified that the governor is reacting against corruption.

Like the Modi government, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan is also anti-corruption. Muralidharan said that if he is seen as a tool of the BJP because of his stance against corruption, then so be it. He clarified that CPM stand is in favor of corruption.

Appointment must be in accordance with law. If the Chief Minister is not aware of the illegal appointment, it is incompetence. Muralidharan added that the Chief Minister’s approach is political and the Governor’s approach is anti-corruption.
