A government bus is plying daily from the Government Transport Corporation Panimana at Palanichettipatti in Theni to the Government Law College in Theni Weerapandi. On July 11, Pandi Vishwanath, a government driver, drove the bus from Theni to Law College.

He said, “On questioning Pandi Vishwanath, the bus driver, he has asked his friend Saravanan, an auto driver, to drive the government bus as he fell ill while driving the bus.
If you are ill, you may drive a bus to a hospital. But by not doing so, the government has irresponsibly allowed another individual to drive the bus. As a result, the bus driver of the government bus has been temporarily dismissed’, he said.
