The young Cuban Ruth Natalia Benítez, who a few days ago was reported missing with her six-month-old baby in Mayarí, Holguín, was finally located and both are safe and healthy.

Reports on social networks indicate that both the girl and the newborn are with the latter’s father in San Antonio de los Baños.

Sarai Padilla, on Facebook, was one of those in charge of sharing the reassuring news, while thanking everyone who cared about the young Cuban.

“For all the people who communicated with concern and contributed their grain of sand by sharing and accompanying us in our despair, I thank you. I never imagined she was so loved.”

“Everything has now been cleared up and they are fine… God bless them all. Share so that it reaches all those who in one way or another, without knowing us, were also concerned.”he stated in the publication.

Meanwhile, Tania Rodríguez, Ruth’s mother, explained how they knew the young girl’s location. It was all thanks to a call from a friend of the teenager, who also sent her a photo showing the couple on a farm in San Antonio de los Baños.

“They lied to me because they believed that I was going to take the child away from them, those were my daughter’s words when she called me this afternoon,” Tania confessed.

After the disappearance was reported, family, friends and the community in general turned on the alarms and immediately began the search through different avenues.

Fortunately, everything seems to indicate that it did not happen any worse and was only a scare.

And in Cuba, the issue of disappearances becomes increasingly serious, and in many cases, the victims suffer the worst outcomes.
