Bengaluru ∙ Security breached during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rally in Karnataka’s Devanagari. During Modi’s road show, a young man standing on the roadside crossed the barricade and rushed towards the Prime Minister’s motorcade. He was arrested by police and security forces. Police informed that the arrested youth is being interrogated and there was no security breach.

This is the second time that there has been a security breach at Modi’s event in Karnataka. During a road show in Hubballi in January, a 15-year-old boy ran over a barricade with a garland of flowers in front of Modi as he waved and greeted him from the step of his vehicle. He reached out to take the necklace from the boy who reached the Prime Minister’s hand, but the SPG (Special Protection Force) personnel grabbed the boy and took the necklace and handed it over to the Prime Minister.
