In the second episode of the Genie TV original drama ‘Your Honor’ (Creator Pyo Min-soo/Scriptwriter Kim Jae-hwan/Director Yoo Jong-sun) that aired on the afternoon of the 13th, the harsh price paid by Judge Song Pan-ho (played by Son Hyun-joo) for turning away from the truth to protect his son was constantly being swept up. As a result, the viewership ratings rose sharply to 2.8% (based on Nielsen Korea nationwide paid households), up 163% from the first episode.
Earlier, Song Pan-ho started to collect evidence by going through his son Song Ho-young’s (played by Kim Do-hoon) whereabouts on the day of the accident. Song Pan-ho pretended to catch his girlfriend cheating, gave her money, checked the CCTV, and secretly deleted the footage. He was so bold and daring that he was completely different from a respected judge, causing shock.
However, the situation changed again when the accident vehicle was caught by the police due to Lee Sang-taek (Ahn Byung-sik), who had Song Pan-ho order Jeong I-hwa (Choi Moo-sung) to dispose of the vehicle. Detective Jang Chae-rim (Park Ji-yeon), who thought it was Song Pan-ho’s stolen vehicle, discovered a piece of the fender of the accident motorcycle underneath while trying to hand the vehicle over to Song Pan-ho with the officer in charge.
Because of this, Lee Sang-taek was accused of car theft and hit-and-run, and as a result, Song Ho-young, who used the car, was also questioned as a witness, which led to the tension reaching its peak. Song Ho-young escaped the situation with an unexpectedly calm attitude and improvisation, but the anxiety that had gripped the father and son did not go away easily.
When the story that Lee Sang-taek was the culprit who killed Kim Sang-hyun (played by Shin Ye-chan) spread to the Woowon family, Kim Sang-hyeok (played by Heo Nam-joon) declared that he would find the culprit and take revenge, but Kim Kang-heon seemed more sad than angry. However, Kim Kang-heon was also looking for information on Lee Sang-taek behind the scenes, and when he found out that he was part of the budo gang, he went to see Jo Mi-yeon (played by Baek Joo-hee), the head of the gang, and showed unusual behavior.
When such an innocent person was accused of being the culprit, Song Pan-ho went to see Jeong Yi-hwa and confessed that he was the culprit of the hit-and-run accident involving the second son of Woowon Group. The third episode of the drama ‘Your Honor’, which will feature a fatherly battle between Son Hyun-joo, who has awakened to his survival instinct, and Kim Myung-min, who harbors a cool revenge in sorrow, will air on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA at 10 PM on the 19th.
