Chengannur: Youth arrested with nine grams of MDMA. Bibhuprasad (24) of Venmani Changmala Karthika house and Rahul (22) of Ala Tracher house were arrested. During the night patrol led by Excise Inspector Prasad Mathew, they were caught from near the Kollakadav Chirakkuzhi Bridge at around three o’clock yesterday morning. The scooter they were traveling on was also taken into custody. Assistant Excise Inspector KP Pramod, Preventive Officer G. Santosh Kumar, CEOs Vijayalakshmi, G. Shyam, B. Praveen and U. Anu were also in the inspection team.
