Here’s something that hasn’t happened in a very long time: the list of the most viewed artists by YouTube users in Israel experienced a significant change last week, when a new artist that we haven’t seen in the last year and a half jumped significantly straight to second place even though none of his songs are among the most viewed songs of the week

That singer is Far Tessy, who jumped all the way from tenth place to second place, with a nearly 74% increase in weekly views; Although he didn’t even come close to Eyal Golan, who recorded almost twice as many views from Tassi, he managed to overtake Odia Azoulay by a fraction of a percent, who dropped to second place with a 12% drop in the number of views; The singers after her, Omer Adam and Osher Cohen, also recorded decreases of around five percent in the number of views each. However, only Adam dropped in the ranking as a result – because Aden Hasson, who dropped by 7% in the number of listens, jumped from fourth to sixth place, above Usher Cohen who is in place.

As mentioned, Tessi’s jump is amazing considering the fact that none of his songs come close to the top five most viewed: Winter in the window is only in tenth place (up one place compared to the previous week), “Arak” is in 16th place and the new song “Lat Lat Lat” in the 10th place 31 only; The three most viewed songs remained “Kern Shemesh” by Benya Barbi, “Hamet” by Odiya and “Panther” by Eyal Golan, although they all recorded double-digit declines in the number of views; “Kinorot” by Eden Ben Zaken jumped to the fourth place, which almost doubled the number of views; And in fifth place remained Odia and Usher Cohen with “I love you by mistake”.
