The Specialized Court for a Life Free of Violence and Discrimination for Women (LEIV) of San Salvador sentenced YouTuber Roberto Silva guilty of the crime of expressions of violence against women.
The Youtuber committed the crime of expressions of violence against women against Karina Sosa and Daniela Genovez, militants of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN) party.
The sentence includes the payment of six minimum wages to the victims (three for each one) and the publication of a public apology in video format, lasting five minutes.
According to the newspaper La Prensa Gráfica through its digital page, when asked about the conviction, Silva said that he will comply with the order to publish the apology video on his YouTube channel and that he will pay what has been requested, which would be $1,095. for each of those affected, according to the current minimum wage in the trade and services sector.
