between him and the woman after they met at a nightclub in Hillarys, Perth, where he performed in September 2024. He claimed he “fancied” her during the event, describing how she approached him in the VIP area while he was performing. I recall putting my hand on her waist,
he said, but denied touching her inappropriately or violating her consent. He also stated that the woman was enjoying my presence
during their time together, including after they arrived at his hotel room.
The rapper described his security guard taking the woman’s phone to ensure our privacy,
calling it a standard practice.
He further claimed that the woman initiated consensual sex, during which he gave her “love bites” to her neck, breasts, and face. It was amazing, I was enjoying it,
he said, adding that she was enjoying it too.
However, the prosecution alleges that the encounter turned violent, with Barrientos biting, slapping, and raping the woman multiple times.

The prosecution presented conflicting accounts of the night. The 20-year-old complainant testified that she initially engaged in consensual sex with Barrientos but later told him to stop when the encounter became violent.
