In the results of the Indopol Survey released on Wednesday (11/9/2024), it was noted that the electability of the Yusuf-Ulfiyah pair was superior in top of mind questions.
“The pair Yusuf Rio Wahyu Prayoga and Ulfiyah are ahead with 37.80 percent,” said Indopol Survey Executive Director Ratno Sulistiyanto via a press release.
Meanwhile, the incumbent candidate pair Karna Suswandi-Khoirani is 32.20 percent. Meanwhile, respondents who have not yet decided their choice are 30.0 percent.
According to Ratno, these survey figures show that there is resistance from the candidate pair Yusuf Rio Wahyu Prayoga and Ulfiyah who are superior as challengers.
However, because there are quite a large number of respondents who have not yet decided on their choice (30.0 percent), the political conditions ahead of the Situbondo Regency regional elections are still quite dynamic.
“The gap between candidate pairs is 5.6 percent, approaching the margin of error (approximately 4.9 percent),” he said.
For closed questions, he said, again the Yusuf-Ulfiyah pair was superior compared to the incumbent regent and deputy regent, namely by 41.8 percent.
The results of the Indopol Survey stated that Yusuf-Ulfiyah’s electability was superior to the incumbent, so they have the potential to win the Situbondo Pilkada.
