Yuval and Moshe were instructors at Boyar boarding school in Jerusalem. They went on a trip with five other friends and were killed on their way back to Israel when the shuttle they were traveling in collided head-on with a vehicle coming in front of it.

In a statement published on behalf of the boarding school, it was said: “A heavy disaster has befallen us, we have lost our beloved loved ones. This is a heavy grief, a sorrow that is difficult to contain at this moment. We are here for you in every way.”

Yuval’s parents, Siglit and Danny, paid tribute to her in a conversation with the Ynet website: “Last Saturday, she was at home and prepared many things for the trip to Sinai. She loved the training very much, and the training both at the Attighim association and at Boyar, where she really liked being.”

“She had a light in her eyes. For 24 years she was a magical princess, and now she’s lost to us. We don’t digest the disaster that befell us. We don’t understand what happened, it’s a loss that simply cannot be grasped. She was never angry, she was amazing and talented.”

Matan’s sister, Samdar Ben Ami, posted a picture of him on Facebook together with her and their sister Naama, and wrote: “A moment from our lives, from the brothers we are, from what we will no longer be. Shocked and crushed, we are waiting for you at home, to bring you back to us for the last time. Matan, my love , our little brother, is gone.”
