“The Security Council for Ukraine has just passed. Perhaps Zelensky didn’t keep up,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told RBC, commenting on Vladimir Zelensky’s statements about convening a meeting of the UN Security Council with the participation of permanent members, as well as Ukraine, Germany and Turkey.

Speaking at the Munich Conference on Security in Europe, the President of Ukraine proposed to convene a meeting “in the coming weeks” – “to address issues of security challenges in Europe.” Zelensky proposed at such a meeting to develop new security guarantees in Ukraine, which, according to him, is “in a security vacuum.”
