/ Zakho Football Club administration announced on Monday its intention to file a lawsuit before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland, in protest against the decision of the Organizing Committee of the Iraqi Premier League.

The media official of Zakho Club, Delzar Adnan, told Agency, “The club’s management has taken all necessary measures to travel to Switzerland,” stressing that “the club’s president has a legal background and an entry visa to Europe, and carries with him all the evidence and documents that prove Zakho’s right to obtain the three points from its match with the police.”

Delzar reassured Zakho fans, saying: “Our management is determined to achieve these three points and we have every right to do so.”

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Federation decided earlier today to award Zakho Club 3 points in its match with Al-Shorta, but Al-Shorta Club filed an objection to this decision, and today a decision was issued in favor of Al-Shorta Club.
