The former minister of the Supreme Court of Justice of the NationArturo Zaldívar will be the general coordinator of policy and government for the future president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, and will be in charge of monitoring constitutional reforms and coordinating the implementation of judicial reform.
“The president has instructed me to coordinate with the head of the presidential office, with the Secretary of the Interior and with the Legal Advisor of the federal Executive… to follow up on the entire constitutional reform project of the next administration, in particular the Judicial reform that requires very intense implementation and monitoring,” he said after having made his new position public.

He reported that he will also follow up on the initiatives that have already been presented, “but in a very prominent way,So they will be presenting it to her when the president takes office and begin to properly exercise his office.”
In thanking the appointment, Arturo Zaldívar considered that during the government of Sheinbaum Pardo “We will have years of shared prosperity, security, healtheducation, and Mexico will arrive with great vigor to build the second floor of the transformation.”
He assured that he will put all his “effort, work and dedication to serve her and serve her project and through that, serve the people of Mexico in the best way” and guaranteed that he will work with “loyalty to Mexico, with loyalty to the presidency.”
