Through social media, Zambrano commented that within the party there have been voices to consolidate a new project, which will be renewed and open to society: “There is no intention to think of forming a PRD 2.0, since that would be a serious strategic error,” he said.
The party leader also assured that the work will be carried out by the new generations, and he hoped that the state records of the PRD would be made available to the new political project.

Meanwhile, Jesús Zambrano assured that he will be working from a new position:
“I will contribute my modest efforts and from new positions to continue working for a progressive agenda for the benefit of society and our country,” he concluded.
