Inditex will launch Zara ‘Pre-Owned’the second-hand platform of said brand, clothing repair and donationin 14 new European markets, including Spain, on December 12, as announced by the brand.

With this initiative, Zara customers will have access to circularity services such as repair, sale among customers of Zara clothing from their closets and donation, through Zara.com, its mobile application and Zara stores.

Zara ‘Pre-Owned’, operational in the United Kingdom for a year and in France since last Septemberis part of the sustainability commitments of the Inditex Group for the coming years.

With the launch of this platform in Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Portugal, Inditex is advancing its objective of implementing circularity services in its key markets during 2025.

Specifically, since next December 12‘Pre-Owned’ will be available in the main menu of Zara.com, along with the women’s, men’s, children’s and beauty categories.

Thus, users will have services available such as the repair of used Zara clothing of any season, with options ranging from replacement of buttons and zippers to repair of seams.

The customer can complete the procedure entirely ‘online’ or in the Zara store of their choice and the repair is done through local suppliers.

Likewise, Zara ‘Pre-Owned’ also offers its customers the opportunity to sell your Zara clothes from any collection in a safe environment.

The sales space is organized by product categories with detailed information on each item, including Zara’s original information on the garment and current images provided by the seller.

On the other hand, clients can request home collection of used clothing to be donated to non-profit entitieswhich classify them to reuse them whenever possible or recycle them if they have reached the end of their life cycle, supporting the development of projects in local communities. This service accepts products of any brand.
