Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met on the sidelines of the ongoing international security conference in the German city of Munich with his colleagues from Finland and Guatemala, and also discussed a plan for the reconstruction of Ukraine with an Australian billionaire, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA.

Zelensky discussed Ukraine’s military needs with the new Finnish head of state, Alexander Stubb. According to the Ukrainian president’s office, he congratulated Stubb on his election victory and thanked him for his firm stance in support of Kiev against the Russian invasion.

“We are extremely grateful to your country and your people for their firm support and warm attitude towards Ukraine and Ukrainians,” Zelensky told Stubb.

Zelensky informed his colleague about the situation at the front and about the defense needs of his country, emphasizing the importance of Finnish support for Ukraine’s accession to NATO and the EU.

Ukrinform reported earlier that Zelensky discussed the delivery of F-16 fighter jets with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

In Munich, the Ukrainian president also talked about a plan to restore Ukraine with the Australian entrepreneur and billionaire Andrew Forrest, who is the founder of the Australian mining corporation “Fortescue”.

The head of state thanked Forrest for the humanitarian projects he implemented in Ukraine.

On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Zelensky also met with Guatemalan President Bernardo Arevalo, who was sworn in last month, Ukrinform also reported. And the Ukrainian leader thanked him for his support.
