President Volodymyr Zelensky said that if Donald Trump has a plan to end the Russian-Ukrainian war, he should talk about it. He also stressed that any proposal should not threaten Ukraine’s sovereignty.

He said this in an interview with Bloomberg.

“If Trump knows how to end this war, he should tell us today. If there are risks to Ukrainian independence, if we lose our statehood, we want to be ready for this, we want to know,” he said.

Zelensky expressed dissatisfaction with delays in arms deliveries from Western allies and said he was ready to meet with Trump to hear his team’s proposals.

He noted that no one can plan his life, the lives of Ukrainians and their children. The President wants to understand whether there will be strong support from the United States in November or whether Ukraine will be left alone.

Zelensky rejected the idea that Ukrainian and Russian forces were in a stalemate on the battlefield. He said the Ukrainian army was better positioned in terms of manpower than it was several months ago and that a new offensive depended on the armament of the brigades.

The president praised the $61 billion in U.S. aid but pointed to the long lead times for delivering military equipment to the front.

He stressed that the biggest tragedy of this war is that a very long time passes between the decision being made and its implementation.

Earlier, “Cursor” reported that Russia handed over the draft peace treaty with Ukraine to the United States.

In addition, the Russian Federation recently made a statement regarding Trump’s “peace plan” for Ukraine.
