He emphasized that Ukraine’s victory plan is based on an understanding of how the country can succeed in a war with Russia. According to Zelensky, this plan does not depend on Russia, but on Ukraine’s partners and their readiness to support Ukraine’s victory.
“We respect the choice of the American people and understand that the next president could be either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump. It depends on the choice of the American people. So I have openly stated that the plan to win depends largely on the United States and its president support. That’s why I will review this plan not only with Joe Biden, but also with Kamal Harris and Donald Trump,” Zelensky said.
He emphasized that it is important for him to know the position of the US presidential candidates regarding this plan.
“Perhaps we will send this plan or we will meet with our teams. It is not known yet. But our teams have already started working on it and have started communication,” the president added.
