Clara Brugada assured that her security and anti-extortion model for Mexico City will aim to protect all citizens and guarantee zero corruption and zero impunity.

The candidate for head of Government for the “Let’s Keep Making History” coalition, Clara Brugada, said that upon reaching the capital’s Headquarters she will implement a model of security and combating extortion whose central objective will be to protect all citizens, especially the women, in addition to guaranteeing that there is no corruption or impunity.

In this sense, the Morenista stressed that she will not neglect the security of Mexico City for a single moment and that she will work exhaustively so that zero impunity and zero corruption are guaranteed from all areas of security and justice administration.

Brugada said that he will undertake a fierce and permanent fight against crime, especially against extortion and high-impact crimes, for which he also committed to strengthening and giving continuity to the current security strategy, which he described as successful.

“We are going to continue with the successful model that exists in the city, we are going to deepen it, I have said publicly that Omar García Harfuch’s team is going to continue, because what works well and is successful, we must give it continuity and support,” Brugada expressed.

Following the above, he detailed that the current security model will be deepened with greater infrastructure, equipment and intelligence, which translates, he explained, into turning the country’s capital into the most illuminated and video-surveillance in America with the placement of 150,000 cameras. , security modules in each neighborhood, town or neighborhood, and with the monthly citizen evaluation of the police corporations.

Furthermore, the candidate for head of government for Morena, PT and PVEM stressed that it is urgent that extortion be classified as a high-impact crime, after which she recalled that the current president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, proposed it through a series of initiatives, which, she assured, are supported by her.

Likewise, Brugada pointed out that during the current administration of the capital, homicides and high-impact crimes in general decreased by 50% throughout the entity, while in Iztapalapa, the mayor’s office that he governed, these were reduced by 57%.
