French star Zinedine Zidane officially announced his position on the possibility of working as technical director of Bayern Munich in the future.
Zidane confirmed during his answer to the German “Sky” network correspondent, who asked him: “Will you be the coach of Bayern Munich in the future?” to which he answered without hesitation, “No, I will only go to watch the match.”
Zizou added: “I hope, of course, that Real Madrid wins.”
The French coach has remained full-time since the end of his second term with Real Madrid in the summer of 2021. Press reports have speculated that Zidane is among the candidates to lead Bayern Munich, which will part ways with its current coach, Thomas Tuchel, at the end of the current season.
The Bavarian and Madrid giants will meet next Wednesday evening at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
