Professional player Zidane Iqbal expressed his desire to represent the Olympic team in the Paris Olympics.

The administrative director of our Olympic team, Abdul Jabbar Hashim, said in a statement received by the (INA), “The professional player Zidane Iqbal expressed his full approval to represent the Olympic team in the Olympic Games in Paris.”
“We are still waiting for the official approval from his Dutch club (Utrecht), which may arrive today, Wednesday, so that we can add him to the final list participating in the Olympic Games in Paris,” he added, indicating that “the Olympic team’s coaching staff, led by coach Radhi Shenaishil, is counting on the presence of Zidane Iqbal, as he is a skilled player with high specifications. The team’s participation in the Olympic Games in Paris requires a type of player who is good at playing in more than one position, due to the pressure of matches and the short period of time between group stage matches.”
Our national team will play alongside the national teams of Ukraine, Argentina and Morocco in the Olympic Games in Paris, which will start in the second half of this month.
