Zimbabwe cricket team scored the highest score in the history of T-20 International. In the match against Gambia in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifier B, 2024, Zimbabwe scored 344 runs in 20 overs. In this match held at Ruaraka Sports Club Ground in Nairobi, captain Sikandar Raza‘s bat also performed well, he scored a century in just 33 balls.
After winning the toss and batting first, Zimbabwe started batting with the first ball. Every bowler was beaten. Captain Sikandar Raza returned unbeaten after scoring 133 runs in 43 balls. With opener Brian Bennett wicketkeeper Marumani had taken the score to 98 runs in just 5.4 overs. Both the openers were out after scoring half-centuries.
