Zondoma/Literacy: 450 learners seeking certification
Gourcy, (AIB)- The Provincial Director of Primary and Non-Formal Preschool Education (DPEPPNF) of Zondoma, Ouindinkonté Ouédraogo gave the starting signal for the certification evaluation of the literacy ashes, for the benefit of 450 learners, on Monday, May 22, 2023 in sector 3 of Gourcy .
Unlike previous years where each province fully provided the end-of-year assessment of literacy ash learners, a national exam like the Certificate of Primary Studies (CEP) which is organized this year 2023.
The launch of this examination took place this Monday, May 22, 2023 in the center of sector 3 of Gourcy by the Provincial Director of Primary and Non-Formal Preschool Education (DPEPPNF) of Zondoma Ouindinkonté Ouédraogo.
On this occasion, Mr. Ouédraogo lavished his encouragement to the candidates and other actors who are facing this kind of exercise for the first time.
About 450 candidates including 432 women and 18 men take part in this evaluation for certification in the province of Zondoma.
They are distributed in the six Basic Education Circumscriptions (CEB) in the province which are at the same time considered as juries.
Administered in a single day, the tests consist of a study of texts, calculation and reading, entirely in the Mooré language.
The results are expected by May 30, 2023 and each admitted candidate will have a certificate recognized by the Burkinabè government.
Started in February 2023, this literacy campaign has seen the operation of about fifteen centers in chained formula (CFE) whose learners are concerned by this new form of evaluation.
